None of these news channels, newspapers and news magazines seem to remember who Aarushi Talwar was.

Most of these have forgotten who Ishmeet Singh was.

  3. True.
Oh..I HATE the way some reporters drone away loooooooong sentences in a low-pitched voice, choking for breath. Look at certain NDTV newsreader ladies and you'll know what I mean.

  8. Hey Vrij,

In news parlance its called ‘dead news’.. no one would pick up something, even with a barge pole, which doesn’t make ‘news’ or brings in TRPs or readership….

But then news is something ‘new’ (that’s how the word became news – new things)…

  10. I sense that you are criticising the Media. While it is true that they come up with news, make teh most out of it and move on, they cant keep continuing on the same thing for ever.

Its the sensationalisation at first that is wrong, not the fact that they move on a while later.

  11. well what to say its just a matter of TRP's and if a certain news org takes up somethin and that cathes audience's attention others have to take it up...its a cut throat comp..and thus hype is created.
